Summer tutoring isn't for catching up. It is about smashing the academic competition. The school year isn't the best time to learn. That is a time to show what you know. Only the best are allowed to ask questions in a math class. Everybody else just suffers in silence. Don't know how to find slope, quadratics, systems of equations, synthetic division, computer coding, or how to cite references in a term paper? Then, maybe you should be in summer tutoring.
All of the kids who have done summer prep with us have maintained A's and B's the following year. Many improved their SAT score by more than 100 points. We tutor one on one only. People come to us because we take students at the last minute on a daily basis. When the teacher gives a review sheet, tutors must make themselves available. Chris Chase (owner)
